The sun is shining and there are just 5 weeks to go until 110 Above Festival 2018. The build on the site has started and it is definitely feeling closer by the second.

Modifications from 2018 following feedback
We got amazing feedback in 2017, which has kept us motivated through the long winter months but we always want to make 110 Above EVEN better. In terms of enhancements we are doing the following:
-
Toilets - 50% MORE toilets, which will include some in a separate quiet camping area
-
Quiet Camping - We will move this slightly further away (but still within a close distance overall) from the main camping to reduce noise issues. We will also be carefully monitoring idiots using whistles on the campsite (!) and plan to give out free earplugs. As per above, quiet camping will have its own toilets separate from the main camping.
-
Food vendors - MORE so there shouldn't be any serious queues this year. We are adding a hog roast, a bigger burger person, fajitas and jacket potatoes. We have briefed all caterers to have veggie and veganoptions.
-
Night Time Sessions - We trialled these last year and they went so well that we are coordinating these more carefully to give a great alternative to the DJs playing on the other stage.
-
Security - Once again we will take site security very seriously. We have been meeting with our security team regularly so they operate as they should and we will ensure they are not too "heavy handed". We have clearly drilled in what a mosh pit is and that it is not a form of fighting! Should you have any issues with our staff's behaviour please report directly to the event management team (Michael, Max, Andrew or Chris).
-
Other Activities - Comedy and tribal drumming will be coming back and we have also arranged some hula hoop classes alongside garden games. We are looking at a variety of other alternative activities to keep us fully entertained during the whole weekend!
Prepare the tents!
Can't wait to see you in a few weeks!
Team 110 Above
